In an interview with the Newsroom of the 18th International Exhibition of Press and News Agencies, “Sylvester Szafarz”, the political commentator and member of the Association of Polish Journalists talking about the impact of the Islamic Revolution of Iran on the whole world said Iran is one of the most influential countries. He said I believe that Islamic Revolution of Iran is the driving force behind the recent Islamic uprising in Egypt, Libya, and Tunisia.
Referring to the need to defuse the western media’s propaganda against Islam, the Polish journalist while emphasizing the role of the Press Union of Islamic World said we have gathered here from 41 different countries which in itself is quite helpful but it’s not enough.  Considering the fact that western media belong to countries such as United States and France, we need their presence in this union”.
While referring to the fact that the Islamic Revolution of Iran has been transformed and updated, the Polish journalist said: those revolutions we have witnessed recently are mostly modernized; however the Iranian Revolution is still believed to be the main source of inspiration and role model of these recent uprisings. He also added that the world is undergoing new waves of events and in future we will witness new rounds of Islamic revolutions and changes.
Sylvester Szafarz continued by referring to role of Iran in the regional developments and said that: Today we witness the trembling of all political, economic, and ideological regimes in the capitalist world and we can easily see this development in the movement called "Occupy the Wall Street". This has led to an ideological void in the world. Now is the best time that media of Islamic world, particularly Iran that has achieved independence and endurance in the worst conditions, offer the Islamic ideology to the world and introduce the advanced Islamic system as the most humanitarian system.
He finally referred to the attempts by the west to sow the seed of division among Muslims and added: The west is afraid of unity of the Muslims and that's why applies different strategies to divide them. Intoxicating and distorted publicities to create Islamophobia is one of western tools but Iran as the leader of Muslims should endeavor to counter western plots by consolidating the unity within the Islamic world

The reason that west bullies the small countries is to prevent them from marching towards development and progress. If Moslems all over the world unite and use their financial power the same as western countries, west and the United State will not be able to impose their will on them.
Mohammad Ershad said that “The development of the media in Islamic countries will result in financial and social development of these countries and prevent western powers from putting pressure on them.

Western media has manipulated world public opinion to an extent that whenever the name of Islam is spelled out all minds thinks of terrorism. Certainly at present conjunction we are duty bond to improve our unity, affinity and brotherhood so that feeling of self confidence among Muslims gains more strength to counter the western media.
He continued by saying that enemies of Islam are using sophisticated and subtle tactics to dominate Muslims which the clearest one is by sowing the seed of division among us. The latest example of such malicious campaign is the fabricated news of attempt by Iran to assassinate Saudi ambassador to the United States. Muslims should be aware of enemy's plots and by their unity thwart their machination.
